Mike joined Barnard in 1989 and understands every level of field work, having worked as a laborer, foreman, and heavy equipment operator. His breadth of experience as a superintendent includes ECI, design-assist, CMAR, and design-build processes. Over the last two decades, Mike has emerged as a leader on alternative delivery projects, including the Keeyask Generating Station, Snoqualmie Falls Hydroelectric Redevelopment, EAA A-1 Reservoir and Test Cells, and Tampa Bay Regional Reservoir. As Vice President & Operations Manager, Mike now oversees heavy civil projects at the executive level, working with owners, engineers, and stakeholders in a partnering atmosphere. Currently, Mike is overseeing a dam spillway modification project for the United States Army Corps of Engineers that will modify the existing 3,100-ft.-long, 1,500-ft.-wide emergency spillway for the Pipestem Dam in Jamestown, North Dakota.
