As Barnard’s Corporate Safety Director, Mike develops and provides technical and administrative direction on all safety and health policies and programs for Barnard, including developing and implementing safety training programs for all employees. Since joining Barnard in 2013, Mike has supported Barnard teams in earning national and regional safety recognition, including AGC’s 2017 Construction Safety Excellence Award in the Utility Infrastructure category and a 2017 William H. Feather Safety Award Honorable Mention from the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) for the $500,000-$1M man-hour category. Mike has twice been selected as AGC Safety Professional of the Year.
