Corporate Environmental Manager
As Corporate Environmental Manager, Dina Brown oversees Barnard’s environmental policies and programs. She is directly involved with each project, in determining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as managing environmental risk to the company. She works with estimating teams and onsite project management to ensure that environmental challenges are considered with paramount importance, side-by-side with safety and quality.
Dina’s 28 years of experience as an environmental management professional have involved the permitting, planning, management, and closure of oil and gas, mining, and civil construction projects. Her experience ranges from technical science and engineering implementation to community engagement and stakeholder relations. She has had direct responsibility for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and numerous other federal and state regulatory programs. Her experience includes spill planning and prevention, stormwater management, reclamation, waste management, due diligence, risk management, and environmental auditing. Dina is a board certified professional soil scientist who holds a B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering and an M.S. in Forest Science.
