Project Details

This fast-track project included installation of high-pressure, natural gas pipeline through high elevation terrain in areas that routinely receive 4 to 8 feet of snow during the winter months. Specifically, this project included: approximately 2 miles of 20-inch steel suction line; roughly 10 miles total of 10-inch pipe in three separate lateral lines; seven launcher/receiver sites; three creek crossings; and multiple road crossings.  Most challenging was tackling this work in late fall with difficult access, many landowner and environmental restrictions, and tight deadlines. Crews totaled 250 employees.
