Barnard Pipeline recently completed another challenging oil and gas pipeline installation project in western Colorado. The project included 22 miles of 24-inch, 0.500-inch wall pipeline through private, BLM, and National Forest property. The project’s challenges included the extremely steep, rocky terrain, a unique river crossing using a 1907 steel truss bridge, and limited access to the ROW. Construction began in June 2009. This work took place at elevations up to 6500 feet on the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains. This project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
