Project Details

Barnard Pipeline's part in this challenging natural gas line project was to oversee the final tie-ins of a new, 30-inch line installed by Horizontal Directional Drilling under the White River near the City of Auburn in western Washington. Barnard's work included removing a riverbank structure built to protect the old gas lines when erosion left them exposed several years ago. Barnard Pipeline also removed 9,500 cubic yards of dirt, rock, trees, and stumps. On completion of the debris removal, Barnard Pipeline installed three engineered log jams, designed to provide fish habitat enhancement. The project was completed in the fall of 2005.
