Project Details

The North Fork Hughes Dam is located in one of the most visited West Virginia State Parks.  The dam, which was constructed for flood control, involves approximately 90,000 CY of roller-compacted concrete (RCC), 4,000 CY of structural concrete, 500 LF of outlet conduit and a precast panel system on both the upstream and downstream faces of the dam.  The project was under intense public scrutiny and required extensive public relations.
