Project Details

The Dawson Creek Sanitary Sewer Project presented Barnard with environmental, restricted access, and tight schedule challenges. Working within a 50-foot right-of-way and utilizing a 13-foot-wide trench box, Barnard crews installed nearly two miles of double barrel 42-inch and 36-inch sewer line. Adding to the complexity of the project was the work required through wetlands. Barnard used a 16-foot wide Uni-mat system running the length of the wetlands to protect the natural environment. Barnard’s involvement in the design and permitting process contributed to the successful completion of this difficult project.
